0°/90° Biaxial Stitched Fabrics are a type of composite reinforcement consisting of unidirectional warp (0°) and weft (90°) plies that are stitch-bonded together. They offer superior stiffness without increasing the weight or thickness of laminates, making them ideal for high-performance structural applications. This stitch-bonded composite reinforcement combines continuous roving oriented in the 0° and 90° directions into a single fabric, and can be used with or without mat. Biaxial fabrics find extensive applications in wind blades, marine panels, snowboards, and truck and trailer panels, among others.
