+45°/-45°Biaxial Stitched Fabrics
Product Details
Biaxial Stitched Fabrics (+45°/-45°) is a type of stitch-bonded fiberglass fabric that consists of two layers of woven roving that are oriented at a +45° and -45° angle respectively. Extensively used for hand lay-up, injection (RTM and RTM light) and infusion (VARI). This produces a fabric with equal strength in both directions and allows it to conform to curves and contours easily. Biaxial fabrics are commonly used in composites manufacturing to add strength to a part or to create a specific shape or structure. They are often used in applications such as boat building, aerospace, and wind blades, marine panel, snowboards, truck and trailer panels.
